The Grand Opening of the Our Garden benches was held on Friday, October 29, 2010, with a dedication ceremony attended by hundreds of local students from the Umana Middle School across the street. The plan is to build a 376,000 square-foot structure that will include residential apartments, retail space, office space, a hotel, and spaces used for civic and cultural organizations/projects.
